I would put a filter on it to help at air to the tank and to have some waiter flow in it.

The tank has been 68 to 70 degrees so a bit cooler than the fish I have in there would like. But with summer coming It should get warmer. I broke down and put a filter in it too. Maybe Ill take it off when the tank is more established.
