Beltirra,

Your floating green mass looks to be Najas guadalupensis or what is commonly known as 'guppy grass'.  Grows like crazy but is easy to trim and keep under control.  Many shrimp sellers include it in their bags along with the shrimp during shipping.

do you actually get fry from the glo-lites? it sounded like the water change brings on the spawning, what other conditions do they need to breed?  i didnt think they could be bred.

of course they can be bred but for the eggs to survive you have to turn your lights off for 26 hours.

light will kill the eggs and becuz i dont turn my lights off they eggs die also you cant have a filter going it will suck the babies up.
