I used to have yellow leaves on my plants. It's due to an iron deficiency in the water or substrate(depending on how you fertilize the tank). If you google yellowing leaves in aquarium plants you'll find out more about it. I know Dustin goes for a lot of iron for super growth, but I try to keep it at an even level to avoid the leaves turning black.

@Razor thanks for the info. Not all of the pads are yellow. I added a little salt with an ich outbreak and this hit about 10 days after the salt was added. Ich is all gone. Thanks for the compliments! Good info and I will check it out.
