Awesome tank man. I think you're betta fish is going to be really stressed out not just because of the high fin nipping at him but also because of the water flow. Another thing is that both the high fin and the back neon tetra need to be in a school of 7 or more. Other than that I'm digging the plants

Appreciate the advice. I can't school the high fin and black neon in a 10 gallon. Seems I'm turning to the plant side of being an aquarist. I am monentoring the behaviors and if it seems right I will move my betta. I have an idea for a nano tank anyway so who knows. Thanks.

For bettas its usually best to under filter that way theres not a lot of water flow. I've kept bettas with small filters or with no filters at all. Let us know how the bettas doing :D

Don't know how to "under filter", he seems real good. Not stressed at all, he swims all around the tank and doesn't mind the others being near him. He does once in while enforce the pecking order. He give the tetra and serpae a small chase and occasionally flare but never hurts any of them. I think he's just establishing boundaries. He sleeps and rests occasionally in the larger plant and eats well. I posted an update vid the day after I got him and will posting a new video soon (hopefully tonight)
