Does your betta eat your cherry shrimp?

Hi Donny. As far as algae eaters go, i have a population of RCS, a male albino bristle nose and a pair of apple snails, along with a fluctuating population of ramshorns. Never had an issue with algae. You might also try adding a lot more plants.

Try baking your driftwood in the oven at a low temperature like 200 or 250 for about an hour or two checking periodically. There are different kinds of algae. Green algae is good hair algae is bad and gives a bad appearance.
