Lovin the SA cichlids! Just curious why you put a t5 fixture on the tank since you dont have any live plants in there. Are you planning to convert it?

very good question lol. i put the t5's on there to help show the tank off and so i could take better pics. i got the fixture off ebay for less than $100 from topdogsellers i think. anyways it brings out the color on the fish like crazy. as much as i would like to have plants in there, i'm positive they would eat, tear, and up root them all ha! i can't even keep fake plants in this tank.
