I ve been looking all over but I can't find an exact match and plus they run around 130-160. I going to try petsmart and if I can't find anything I will need to build one.

I m heading over to petco tomorrow, I found one for 59 bucks metal, not that bad it looks good. On  my profile I have a pic of some rocks and the tank that I m gonna use, check it out let me know what you think. Right in front of the rocks I plan on adding some light colored sand in that same area everything else will be black sand or eco complete sub. I will draw out the plan and show you. My only concern is that the tank is tall so I may need a strong light to reach the botton plants.

Do you have any suggestion on low ground plants ?

sorry man crazy week. but stand looks sweet. can u put a tank on the bottom shelf? and i'll check out you new tank. are u gunna dirt it?

24" is fine thats only 3" taller than a 55g. if you got a 2 bulb t5 i would think u can grow pretty much anything. maybe like baby tears might not do amazing but it will do just fine. but i would dirt your tank just to be sure. i think 2 types of substrate would be cool i haven't done it myself. but i just worry about using two different sizes of substrate. just because sand will fall into the eco complete. but i would ask  doc tim and i'll try to do  some research as well. when u say low ground plants you mean low light foregound plants?

I think your right about the t5 I my just make a DIY t5 hood instead of buying a t5 hood. On the dirt section I posted my plans, check it out let me know what you think about the fish selection.
