Nice Setup, I've always wanted to do a Pearl Gourami & Red Velvet Swordtail tank. 

seems there is always 1 tank that you cant have...

Thanks Martin, I didn't know if it was gonna look good but it ended up making a nice focal point. I have always hated those fake decorations so that was a big step for me. I haven't tried to breed them, I know they have to make a bubble nest on top for the eggs so with my filtration that probably wont's happen. I do see them spawning a lot. they are very active.

And thanks Luke for the nice comment. This is actually my first freshwater aquarium since I was like 10, I have had saltwater all these years. I wanted to do something different with live plants so here we are. I only bought 6 Gourami's and 2 loaches. I started with Gourami's because a few "pro's" told me they are docile. For the most part they are but I've noticed after they eat they chase each other, Hopefully I won't lose any. I got some more plants so I'll be posting some more pics soon, Thanks Bill
