i was thinking about getting the xp3 for a 75gal,, is the flow rate really as good as it says, something like 350 or 375 gph .. if thats true i may drop down to the xp2.....
thats true, ive always heard to go "plus one" bump it up a notch.. better to be safe than sorry
I have a pair of Eheim Classic 2217 Filters, one of them has been in almost continuous use for almost 30 years. Their Classic design is one of the best devised for the aquarium hobby. I haven't had the opportunity yet to explore either of the large modern filter designs, like the FX5 or the Eheim 3e or the top-end Rena filters, but I will probably be investing in a pair of FX5's to run my 300.
my original plan was to go with the eheim classic because i have heard that they are tried and true.... but then i started readin bout all these new and improved filters with their bells and whistles......but as the sayin goes "if it aint broke dont fix it"
