thinned out some dwarf Sag up front and small crypts to add to the 20 gallon, along with the hairgrass & smaller swords that were in the right foreground.

Hiya Braden,

Using very very VERY old gravel (about 34 years old)...it's been in my tank for as long as I've owned it.  I do supplement it with Flourish Tabs and the Flourish Liquid supplement series, and use pressurized CO2 in my tank.  As far as what I do to grow Crypts...not much.  add to tank, make sure water parameters are good for Tetras (pH 6.0-6.8, low gH) and make sure they have adequate lighting.  Other than those two things, a water change every 2-3 weeks of 50% new water...that's about it.

Let me know if there's any other questions you have...I'd be happy to answer them.

Regards,

Paul

Thanks i actually have a lighting question and i was wondering if you could answer it? I'm setting up a 10 gallon and i want it to be my first high tech setup and have ferts, high lights, good substrate, and possibly co2 but it seems pricy and i'm on a budget.
