Best aquarium substrate NOT dirt???

Maybe brand names? Suggestions personal accounts, getting planted aquarium substrate soon for 40 wanna make right choice!

dirt can be easily mineralized hoyt. if ur dirtying ur tank u should be doing it anyways.

I like florite but its really sharp jagged stuff if you like bottom feeders.
