no need for carbon..i stop using those a while back
Does that it's bad for the plants?
Does that mean its bad for the plants?
Well since the time of my post I've found out there's no need for carbon it works against the plants BUT carbon is still a great tool too use in cycles a week or two weeks at a time to get out chemicals like meds or smelly water if you got it
But what exactly does it against the plants and how does it affect them.
It takes the nutrients out of the water which the plants  would feed off of  .... So to answer your question yes it's bad for the plants ... In my opinion I would only take out the carbon if the tank is heavily planted not if you only have a couple plants
Cool thanks
Do nothing. Watch the plants grow wild.
