That my friend is spot algae hard to get it off leaves better option to just trume it off. Good luck

oh man you got a bad case of green spot algae. you can try to take a soft toothbrush to it if not you may have to cut it back. try to put the plant in some shaded area or have a big plant grow over it to block the light. do you have any algae eaters? like the albino snails or ottos?

i have simease algie eaters i also have been dosing potassium for a week now no real change how well do the snails work may try that i also cut back on the lighting  thanks

water changes and less light

I used an old brush head on my electric toothbrush to gently polish off algae from my Anubias. It worked okay on the soft green algae, but the black brush algae just laughed at me. Trimming the older leaves is probably the best solution, but then you end up with even slower growth from a plant that grows on a geological time scale anyway. I am currently looking for links to a hydrogen peroxide dip method I once heard about. Anyone else heard of this?
