Been infected with Aquarium Disease since I was ten years old when I got a 10 gallon leaky chrome frame tank from my aunt, set it up complete with air bubble deep sea diver, and a corner filter, then immediately went and bought way too many black mollies to put in my un-cycled tank. The next day they popped out a bunch of babies who then died from the cold, ammonia contaminated water. That's when I decided to check out the library for information, where I read almost everything by Herbert R. Axelrod. Over the years my aquarium collection has expanded and contracted depending on how much money and space I had. For the last 15 years, I have been more into plants than fish. This is a bit safer, because I don't feel the urge to have several tanks in every room of the house. A few show tanks, a few grow tanks, and I am happy. The internet is the best thing to happen to my aquarium hobby.
