For your size tank I'd go with the fluval FX5. It's one of the best filters on the market.

Also will  one heater work or will I have to purchase 2

two heaters will help to prevent cold spots in the tank. two 150w heaters should do the trick unless the tank will be in a cold spot in the house. Don't cheap out on the heaters, cheap one's can break easy or even worse stick on and cook your fish. read reviews befor you buy.
