Hi fishtank people. I just got a blue Gourami and I was woundering if I can put amano shrimp in with him or is he going to stress them out or eat them.

Heating cable's

is it worth putting in heating cable in a dirted tank all so how many watts would i need for a 55 gal long?

Plants: , Anubias nana, Amazon Sword, Hair Grass, Java Fern,sunset hygrophila, crypts, dwarf lilys, jungle Val, Dwarf Bacopa, Asian Ambulia.
My setup:55 gallon long. lighting is a 4 bulb T5 from Odyssea horable reflector but a great light for the money.. Filters are a aquaclear 70 and a Fluval 105. heaters i have 2 200w on the go some might say thats over kill but my house gets cold in the winter. Im running a DIY CO2 for now with a ceramic diffuser.
