Glossostigma elatinoides can make a pretty nice carpet to and it have pretty long roots, atleast the ones i got from the pet store had long roots

Dwarf hair grass is a good one.  Dwarf baby has good roots but it needs high lights.  I have a youtube channel with the same name.  It's in the front right of the tank.  My substrate is very thick.

Dwarf sag will grow in any light, more light = shorter, more narrow blades ( carpet like). I have high light and my sag reaches 2inches above substrate and spreads like hell, its almost a weed... wait i think it is a weed
