Coraline algae help

I started my saltwater tank about 2 months ago. Those 2 months I have been constantly tying to grow coraline algae. When I add rocks to my tank they turn blue any advice

I want a carpeting plant. I tried d. Baby tears but the rooting system doesent reach deep enough. Whats a deep rooting carpet plant.

I am not sure if you are still looking for a solutuon to growing Coralline algae but if you are Iwould suggest buying Purple Up. I use it weekly in my salt water tank and the rocks and back of the tank are covered in it. Good luck :-)
