I made a 5 gallon tank with crazy glue, it's not leaking, but I'm afraid that when I add my betta it will died of intoxicate. Is super glue harmful to fish?? Thank you.

When the glue drys up it release something white the I can remove it with my fingers but not all of it

im not sure about superglue but usually if you let "glue" dry and cure for 3-6 days (maybe more maybe less) then it is fine and will not leach toxins into the water. It's a good idea to rinse the tank a bunch of times also to wash out any contaminates or chemicals. a better choice would have been to use silicone because it is proven to be safe once it is cured, but if you are dead set on using this tank go get a feeder fish for 50 cents and try it out for a few days... my guess is that the super glue will be fine if you let it sit for a week and rinse it well but i could be very wrong.

How about putting aquarium silicone sealant around and over the super glued spots.

I used both, because it was leaking when I used only silicone. The betta survived a day in the tank, but the tank didn't, it was leaking in the morning when I woke up. >=( I always put glue were it's leaking but a new leak starts =\ I just gave up on it.

I use super glue in my reef tank to place my frags. Just make sure that it is gel form and made of  cyanoacrylate.
