Where do you guys buy your plants???

I know Dustin sells plants, but i dont plan on spending 50$ on plants... i just need a few specific kinds... My local pet store dont have a nice selection of plants.

So, where do you guys buy your plants from???

two very good site i use are

sweet aquatic.com - i buy here cause of shipping..very cheap and plants are good....most of my plant in my vid are from here

- USPS shipping $7.50 no matter how many plants u buy unlike other site which will charge extra per plants

If I can't find my plant here or out of stock....I go below

planted aquarium central...rare and special plants plus very good info on plants you want to buy a bit pricy then above but very good and alot for ur money

-USPS shipping...$6.50+ depend on the plants and quantity

The sites I use are UK sites but for you I see no reason for you not to use eBay. It always does the job and you have a large selection at great value.

www.aquabid.com the ebay of the fish world. you can find some rare plants and some great deals. be sure to check where the seller is though before you bid.

I don't think they sell plants online but if you are in San Francisco, visit their store, good healthy beautiful plants and amazing aquascaped aquariums to look at. I am considering buying them from Dustin as well but I just converted to dirt recently (yes!) and I am wainting to see how my plants do with this new type of setup first.

I just started up my planted tank. I get my stuff from big ALs they have a great selection. Lots and lots. Plan on ordering some online though.

i know its another forum but there is a power seller on the planted tank named gordon richards who has really nice plants. I ordered some crypts and hairgrass from him recently. I got some nice portions for a good price.i piceked them up locally, in LI, Ny. but he ships as well. check oit out. cant hurt. the good thing is that he is another hobbist and you will usually get more for you money. i also order from dustin, so much better to order form fellow hobbyists , imo.
