These are beautiful snails that are fascinating to watch. They give live birth and do not overtake the tank like Apple Snails do. They don't suck out all the oxygen either. Japanese Trapdoors as well as Malaysian Trapdoors require a male and female to reproduce. They're easy to care for and are fascinating. I keep smaller Malaysian's with my Betta's to help with algae. The one's you see right now were born in my tank and are about 4 years old. These are Japanese Trapdoors in the photo.
