Yes Gray it is, it can be grown in low light, but does best in medium to high light, also some root tabs or something to feed its roots is good. All you have to do is trim and replant the tops to spread it out and form a carpet, and if you don't want a carpet of it, don't trim it, the plant will grow to about 4 inches tall.
