Double capping for dirt tanks

It kind of surprises me how few people have thought of this, as far as i know im the only one. Instead of using a single cap for dirt tanks, use 2 different capping substrates. For my 29 I used flourite with eco complete over it. When I had just sand over dirt, the water was super brown and just ugly, now with 2 caps, my water is as close to crystal clear as you can get with dirt.
Along with my water not being brown anymore, I now have 3 layers of substrate that all have nutrients for…

Do you breed bettas??? Hello! i need help on breeding my betta fishes. I just tried and they male and the female was playing tag. Then it never stopped. her fins are all torn now. For some reason he'll try to lure her to his nest and then some times she goes and then they do their dance but!!! idk if it her or his fault. HE starts tarring at her again. I was thinking that maybe she wasnt submitting to him thats why. Though i dont really know! i need help. Was it that i let her out in his tank too quick. it wasnt even like 5 minutes.
