Looking into DIY cfl setup for a 29gal planted tank. Plan on lo tech med light setup for the time with plans to upgrade as I get more familiar with the hobby. Would appreciate any info on number of bulbs and configuration that I may have succes with. Even any two cents on the thought of going this route!!

Tank temp

Starting up my first planted tank and trying to do as much research as possible! May sound like a dumb question but is there a ideal temp for low to med light plants??
