I just restarted my ten gallon aquarium with black sand and I plan on planting it, any addvice on what plants to use with an led light as well as some light from my window across the tank would be appreciated.

An update will be provided in one to two weeks.

you can plant plants such as anubias ludwidigia, sunset hygro, lanthera(if i spelled that right) I have just sand in my 20 gallon as well.I use liquid ferts and iron in my tanks with medium to low light. My ludwigia is growing like crazy.Hope this helps.

Also I am never gonna use LED products again,my 3 gallon came with an LED clip on light with in a month the wiring went bed.If I can I just stick with Compact Fluencent light. Its 2 watts per gallon rule of thumb.

If you're getting direct sunlight from a window the plants will love it. Black sand is beautiful but its probably the worst substrate for an aquarium. You'll have to fertilize it (sand is inert) and make sure its no more than 2 inches deep.
