Any good quality neon tetra breeders out there?

Okay guys I know I've said this but I am not willing to give up on these beautys just yet. I think my problem is the lps I get them at doesn't get them from a quality breeder, just breeding farms in florida ect. So I was wondering does anyone know of any GOOD/GREAT quality neon tetra breeders? Not willing to pay more then 40 dollars for 15 fish with shipping next day. I really don't wanna give up on these guys. The 7 I have left are so cool and so bright swimming together please let me know.

Also to quarentine neon tetras or not too?It seemed to do more harm to me then good. Lost over 15 dollars worth of fish for neons this way.My other fish have done fine but of course they where hardier and of better breed quality since the fish I have are not as popular as the neon tetra. So opinions on quarentining neon tetras instead of putting them in a full planted 90 gallon compared to a one fake plant bare bottom `10gal QT tank thanks guys.

Did you QT them? They mostly died during the QTing period. My QT tank is a 10gal filted and heated with no additional light.its just the tank and the filter and heater and one fake plant.

It took me 3 batches of 6 neon tetras to get them to stick in my community tank. Shortly after the 3rd batch notice they were dropping eggs. However they get consumed by other neons and everything else in the tank. I would like to grow out a couple of the drops but still a "newbie" for the second go around in 15yrs. (my goodness a lot has changed since then)! Love neons, but they recently took a back seat to my Endlers.

See I got 15 at once but did water changes every few days or every two days and had the filter off because i thought my QTS filter was to powerful. Now I'm starting to think it might be because the QT is completely bare bottom and with one plastic plant. I was wondering weather is better to add the neons into the main display rather then the QT since the main tank is heavily planted and I would be adding them with the lunar lights on.

Also where can I get them wild caught so I can start breeder better quality neon tetras. If I succeed I will be selling low at first to see if people buy them and to see if they survive.

I was just recently turned onto "aquabid.com", pretty sure can find just about anything there.

If you get 15 at a time I would use the QT tank for holding purposes while introducing 3-5 at a time to main display, wait 3 days and add another 3-5, keep doing till all are in main display. Do you use water from main display to fill QT?

No actually because they all have the same water. I run on well water that was added to soft a month or so ago.Not sure if the 90 is 100 percent soft now. But my problem is they DIE IN the QT.My question is would it be better to put a sand bottom down of at least an inch and another fake plant?I got a really big fake plant in there that almost reaches the top of the water. Should I add another and what else can i keep to do from stopping my neons from dieing in the QT?
