Aqua-top CF500 UV Sterilizer canister filter .

Well I raved on and on about how good this filter was . And now I'm eating it . A couple of weeks ago it started loosing it's prime . I would get it set back up and it would run for a day or so . And loose it's prime again . Well this is about the fourth time I got it restarted and pumping water! Well this time it went for a few days and I noticed that the water level in the aquarium had dropped about maybe two inch's . I checked to see if it was circulating water and of course it wasn't . But this time , no motor noise at all . As if the motor had burn up . Needless to say . You should never buy anything . I mean anything that is made in China . I may get some haters from that statement , but I just don't care . They have shown me they are sub standard quality in there products . From Clothes to Fish keeping equipment . I'm absolutely pissed off . And want the whole world to know it . Sincerely , E. Roberts

Comment by Marc on July 9, 2012 at 8:20am: i hear ya, but the sad truth of it is almost everything is made in china, even the fluval filters are shipped from Chinese factories. my friend waited for almost 4 months for fluval to send him a replacement light fitting for his rather expensive fluval 500L aquarium only to be told "we are waiting for our shipment to arrive from china"
