There can be a whole bunch going on.

How long do you keep your lights on?  How long has your tank been running?  Fish load vs. gallons. Dirt or non-dirt?

Just some of the big things to consider which might help you solve the problem.

I have a 75 gall dirted tank.  It has been up and running since late August.  My lights run only about 6hrs a day, cut back from 8.

6 angels

6 neons

6 corys

Thank you for the response Anthony

I would do a few water changes over the next week.  I started to see black beard growing in my 20 and did that and it seems to be dying down.  If you want you can add a couple of otto cats to keep it at bay.  I find that they like to eat BBA when it's first growing but once it fully blooms they wont touch it.

Good luck!
