So this really sucks. I've got camallanus worms and it's wiping out my fish. It's killed 4 angels in the past 2 weeks. A couple of my fish have the little red worms sticking out of their anus :(. I'm going to be treating with levamisole wich I've read does a really good job at killing these awful worms. Apparently it's not available in Canada so I've ordered it from the U.S and just waiting. Hopefully I don't lose many more fish but I'm worried it's going to wipe out my tank. If anyone has any experince with this any advice would be appreciated. Wish me luck and I will let you all know how the treatment works out.

I feel bad for your fish. I don't have experience with these particular worms but diseases in general are not always curable. Apply the medicine and see what happens.

Try to keep your aquarium(s) in pristine condition. With one exception, I stopped covering my tank bottoms with substrate and now place my plants in flower pots. Detritus accumulates on the bottom where it is siphoned out at least once a week and replaced with clean, fresh water. Do this as much as possible and add lots of floating plants - (floating) Water Sprite is great at keeping your water clean. This will boost your fishes immune system and cut down on parasites like Camallus worms. And never allow the tank to become cluttered with uneaten food.
