Small crypt wendtii. In low-med light, it stays small, grows slow and in nice tight clumps. Grows well enough in any substrate, but a root tab fertiliser will feed it for several months. Feeds primarily by roots.

Sometimes "fast growing" plants don't grow so fast and can be trimmed with little effort. The above recommendations are great.
