Hi guys, Today 6/7/13 i purchased the madagascar lace plant from my local fish shop. It was in dirt with brown waters. Honestly this was the healthiest one ( great roots ). Instead of throwing it in the tank, I'm acclimating the plant just like u would a fish. Placing it in the 30g root tab , mix mineral substrate. Adding a spot light on her for sufficient lighting to give it a fighting chance. (need those T-5's.)!!!
Thanks for reading. Any suggestions or comments. Pls feel free.

Treat the lace plant like a sword plant heavy root feeders it flowers often but if u dont cut flower before it blooms the plant will go into hibernation for a bit. Its an aponageton type plant so its pretty hardy. U dont need to acclimate plants idk were u read to do that??? Sooo to summarize its an easy level plant that requires medium light but will be ok in te low ranges. Heavy root feeder and just trim the flowers before thy bloom if u want a hue plant

I was able to save to leaves, smh. I was being carful becaus if its condition. I know it will acclimate on its on in the water. @peter i read it requires high lighting. For the time being its in a low: med light. She's a baby with a strong root ball. Roots tabs should help as well. She's in between an amazon and a brizilian sword. Sexy stuff. Lol.
