The T8s emit more light (lumens) than the T5s and distribute it over a wider area.

Well i have my new light fixture ! Its awesome , i also bought some water wisteria! I tried putting up pics thru my phone but it not working.... T5ho is definitely the way to go. I looked at a chart on shane church's page and it says these lights put me at medium light!

I have 2 T8's  (with day light bulbs) on my 90 gallon and my plants are doing great, funny thing is I no longer have an algae problem.  This is my first planted tank, it seems to be algae free, the plants must be using up the nutrients the algae needed.  So cool.

Nice . What kind of plants are you growing? I got some wisteria last week , im loving it.
