I have been monitoring my tank for a couple weeks and i just notice yesterday that there is a snail on my java fern. I checked my tank today and now i have 3, should i keep these or get rid of them i think they came from my java fern. Any help would be great.
thank you :-)

I love the snails. They are a vital part to keeping a clean tank. Every time I see a sticker on a plant package at the LPS that reads "snail free" my first thought is "if I pay more can I get some". Been doing Cichlids for 20 years, Frontosa's love to munch on them. Grab a Clown Loch and he will eat the snails. The Loch will keep then in check. Otherwise place a leaf of romaine lettuce on the bottom of the tank before you turn out the lights or any other veggi like TONY K said. Check the leaf in the AM before the lights come on and it should be full of snails. Repeat until all the snails are gone. Long live the snails!
