depends on the size, type, color, and decor you are trying to go for. you can jam a bunch of small schooling fish such as tetras, danios, mollys, and platys or you can get a decent number of medium fish such as all cichlid or a mix of rams, angels, and gouramis. make sure to research the fish before you buy though otherwise you can be in for a surprise I know I have had my fair share

Get a couple flying foxes one that only has the lines on the sides and one that has lines down the sides along with a line down the back, the mostly silver one eats green algae the other will eat black beard algae as well

get some tetras at least 5 and cory cats at least 3 and rasboras are a good hardy fish species.
