It beautiful - no question, but the whole thing is artificial. He uses Co2 injections, artificial fertilizers, and inert sand as a substrate. Not even sure what he uses to paint the sand. I wonder about the lighting too. Again its beautiful but metal halide bulbs are usually reserved for marine tanks with their need for high color temps. It doesn't hurt that he is scaping in a 300 gallon tank either.

Follow Dustin's formula for planted tanks and you'll achieve natural effects that are just as beautiful.
