There have been no sign of the worms. I lost quite a few fish and I have started restocking my aquarium. Last weekend I got 4 German Rams and lost one. The 3 left are looking great and I think will do fine. Today I went to my LFS and got some angels to replace the ones that I lost. I haven't lost a fish since my initial treatment. I'm pretty sure the first treatment killed all the worms.

I still have one more treatment to do tomorrow, but I'm not doing that large of a water change again. My plants didn't react well to a 75% water change.

Also, now my plants have developed some black dots (algae?) on the leaves. I've been trimming the leaves that are covered. Hopefully it will clear up. Or if anyone knows what it is, let me know!

If you ever have fish infected with camallanus worms I highly recommend treating with the Levasol.

I'm saving this post. Valuable info.

I'm too lazy to look up your initial post; so I'll ask you now: Did the Levasol save some visibly infected fish or did it just end the spread of the worms?

PS. Have fun with the Rams. If you can, add rainwater to their tank. They'll love it.

The Levasol saved all of my larger fish even the ones with many visible worms hanging out. But my red phantom tetras got hit the hardest after the treatment. I read that smaller fish who are infected have a harder time passing the dead worms and then the decaying worms just rot inside becoming toxic. I also lost a few ottocats and angels.

The medication itself doesn't effect the fish (unless overdose) but it did kill my snails and I would assume it would kill shrimp as well. Hopefully you don't ever have to deal with hard to kill annoying worms.

And I'll look into the rain water. Thanks!
