I don't think the algae is from the lights or co2. I'm positive it's from your substrate. Any time you work with substrates high in nutrients (i.e. planted substrate, dirt) it will take a while for your plants to start sucking up all the nutrients to a balanced level. Your bed looks really deep as well, I always stick with around 2 inches. Less substrate less nutrients, algae won't have a chance to compete with your plants. Water changes and lots of them will be your best bet aside from removing some substrate to removing a lot of the nutrients not being used from your plants. Also try running your light cycle around 6-8 hours a day and only run your co2 when the lights are on, plants use oxygen when lights are off. I'm confused by asking if your tank is cycled? Do you test your water? Your tank is cycled when you have no ammonia and nitrites. Usually takes between 2-4 weeks. I always wait about 2 months after I set up a tank to add any living things, allows my bacteria to really establish itself. Best of luck

thanks ryan. and yes my tank is being cycled im at the end of the second week now, and i test my water. i have no more nitrites or ammonia. is it cycled? and turned my lights to 10 hours because they were at 12 h and also my co2. but its heavily planted so my plants will suck up the nutrients. so do you think the algae will go away on its own? watch my other vids! and comment

If your readings are zero then I'd say it's safe to start introducing fish slowly. I do think the algae will go away on it's own as long as you stay on top of your maintenance and as long as it doesn't take over your plants. You just got to be patient and proactive on your weekly and monthly maintenance (ie water changes and filters)

Buy an artist paint brush with a long handle and get to scrubbing. The brush will be yoru best friend.
