both are excellent filter ..you can't go wrong with one.

Ecco has no bypass while fluval has a bit.

i would say fluval, fluval canisters are one of the best kind of filters u can get

Yaa i have a 405 butt the eheims are more off a biologicall filter in my opinion

Fluvals are excellent filters thhoo they have a much higher filtering capacity that the eheims doo

i never had an aheim and no1 that i know has them but fluvals have been pretty good to me and those who have them my friend has a 75 with one 405 and it works awesome

no but one lfs i go to uses them i can ask them about them im heading there today maybe if i can get this check cashed today ill go there
