I live in Washington state west of the cascades, it doesn't get too cold in the winter (in the 40's) and not too hot in the summers (in the 80's). I want to put a 55 gallon aquarium in my garage. I have done my research but I want to see what people have done that live in areas similar to these temperatures. I will be putting 1 Oscar, a pleco (that is about to out grow my other tank) and probably 4 firemouths ( have really made up my mind on the firemouths)
I will have  3 100w and 1 50w  heater placed  throughout the tank, To distribute the heat evenly.  And Im placing it in the garage cuz it going to be my chill area.

the best way to find out, is to do it... i wouldnt put any fish in it but you can see what the the tank itself is gonna do

Lol you right.

i seen it done before but it will cost you.

garage must be insulated so that it doesn't get too hot or cold.

Not only that but the if you put all those fish in a 55 gallon it would be very overstocked.
