Vallisneria melt?

So I just bought a val a week ago and now it turned pale and stared to melt like a crypt. What went wrong with it?

It should be able to make a come back if you have a good tank. i had some that did the same and now they are nice and green.

cut off the dead leaf and see if it comes back
