german blue rams not breeding?!?!
ok so i have 2 german blu rams in a ten gallon tank with a cave a heater at 82 degrees a sponge filter 2 pieces of slate rock and cover like leaves etc... the ph is at around 6, soft water, and about no amonia of course...... its been like 4-5 weeks and one of them has colors getting bright but the other is like black all the time like its terrified and i barely even look at them other than feeding bloodworms every day so he has no reason to be scared....HELP what am i doing

i had to move the discussion from the Aquarium journal section where u posted it to the fish help section, when u create a new discussion in the forum it gives you the option of which section to post into

your PH is too low , try raising it to between 6.5-7
then lower your water level about 3 inches and leave it for 5 days then top the water up with water about 65 degrees F they will spawn in a few hours
