Everyone seems to always buy ATI sponge filters. Never used them, but have read a lot of good reviews on them.

I just bought one today at That Pet Place in Lancaster PA.  They sell online also.

Do you have a HOB filter? If you do I'd by a Hagen fluval edge pre-filter look it up. You can insert it to your intake tube and it's in most local fish stores
