I'll cut to the chase.

Here's what I have-

1 Powder blue dwarf gourami

1 female swordtail

3 albino cories

Here's what I want to have-

1 powder blue dwarf gourami

1 female swordtail

6 albino cories

6 cherry barbs/Black phantom tetras/ zebra danios

I have a 10 gallon planted tank. I use a top fin 10 power filter. Would the new additions make the tank overstocked?

Also, the plants I have

Anubias

Egeria

Java fern

A marimo

If you're wondering If it's doable, I'd say yes. Maybe a stronger filter, but you've got the cleaner power, just don't over feed and water change a 2leter bottle every week or 2 weeks. Should be fine!
I've got 40 harliquin razors, 4 angels, 2 kooli loach,, 1 albino Brussels nose Pleco, 2 mountin shrimp, snails all being filtered by 2 hang over filters in a 26 gallon. It's all about water changes , filters, feeding, and what I think people forget about,  "Layering of fish", the concept of having lousy that only live in specific levels of your tank to create more room.
Fish* not lousy , I don't know how that got in there.

That's a lot of fish for a 10 gallon but they'll survive. I'd think about something bigger or less fish.

I would personally stick with what you have already or get another tank.To me, it looks like your tank is fairly stocked already. With the amount of fish you are wanting to put into the 10 gallon it would leave less than a gallon of water per fish... It is better to under stock than to overstock.

It wasn't said by me but I liked how it was phrased. You COULD keep a dog in a closet it's whole life provided you give it food & water. Doesn't mean it will be healthy & happy.

haha, very funny.

I meant happy and healthy. What do you think I meant.

Oh good. You'd be surprised what people put in tanks

Thanks everyone. ^^

would I be able to just fit the three more cories in there then?

I will be getting a new tank that I will be putting the swordtail and gourami in. It's a 25.

Anyway, then I'll be putting a betta in with my school of cories.

should be fine, if you do water changes every week. But i would recommend you to not buy the barbs just cuz they produce a lot of more waste than tetras or danios. also try to add floating plants cuz thay take out more nitrate than other plants.

if you could get rid of the sword tail then you could do it its just sword tails produce a lot of waste

also if u have carbon in ur filter take it out and re place everything with aquarium wool that will keep waste down due to increased surface area for bacteria

get plants that take nurients from the water colomn like water sprite you should be ok with light for it
