Hey guys!
Got a 20gallon tank (tall) that I am planning to dirt up. I can't seem
To get a satisfactory answer from employees at the local
Pet stores on what kind of lights to use for a 20gl tall.

My goal is to dirt it, grow plants, etc. Ive watched a few
Of dustins vids plus of others but can't seem to determine a sound answer
Of what kind of lighting I should use for a 20gl tall tank.

Any suggestions? Thanks!

I have two light strips on mine one t5 10k and then then the red one I forgot what it is called works great for me
Awesome! Thx for the feedback. I didnt think of
Having 2 light strips. Ill look into it.

Thanks again!

Light is light. It doesn't matter if you use a $500 LED system or a freakin blowtorch. Make sure to use something in the 5000 - 7000K range with about 20 lumens per square inch of surface area. Its all the same. One or two Home Depot $30 florescent worklight tops should suffice. Or better yet, if your tank receives sunlight, you're set for life & your plants will love you.

Thanks Robert! Love how ya cut to the chase!
Yeah the tank gets natural sunlight for a lil
But too much of course. Thanks for the feedback

two full spectrum VHO bulbs in my opinion.

Thanks justin. Ill look into that too
