Tiger oscar just laid eggs
Okay so my tiger oscar just laid eggs. I was pretty surprised. I don't have a male but was wondering if anyone knows how often she will lay. Now that I know she is female I kinda would like to find a way to track down a male to hopefully make the pair. Just to make sure that I am not mistaken their eggs are fertilized the same as other fish where the male passes over them after the female lays them right.

Yeah. You'll need a male if you want them to hatch. Interesting that she laid eggs though. There are lots of people out there trying to get rid of their overgrown Oscars.
