Useing flourish

Theres alot of discussion about flourish and i use it and love it, and my plants seem to love it to. My substrate is just plain old silica sand with a couple root tabs for my swords with med lighting.When i ran out of flourish i noticed a big diffrence with my plants and my star grass not doing so good and not as green i love this stuff i keep it refrigerated as it says you should, and i add it weekly.

Yes I agree I have been using it it my tank for a while now and they love it bit it kills my shrimp I can never keep them alive when I use flourish great product

Really it kills shrimp that sucks I just added some Propel FE (made by the same company but higher grade) to my shrimp/guppy tank yesterday I am going to do a big water change and hopefully save them!!

Didn't do the water change and a week later the shrimp are all alive and well!

I have been using Propel Fe made by aquavitro for a month now. It is suppose to be an upgraded product made by the same company that makes flourish (I've never bought flourish so I can't say for sure) It is a mixture of readily avaliable and time release iron in a form immediately usable by the plants. Recommends use 2-3 times weekly to keep iron levels at 0.10mg/L iron in the tank. It does not need refrigeration and does not kill my cherry shrimp... as a matter of fact they are breeding...found my first babies yesterday!
