Hey guys i have a slight problem. I just purchased some narrow leafed ludwigia for my ten gallon tank and ive noticed that there are snails that were on the plants. All of the snails are tiny but i dont want to have a infestation. What fish or other invertabrates can i put to eliminate these snails. I was thinking assasin snails but i want something that i can get at my lfs. would a yoyo or botia loach work?

thanks in advance

How small are they if their super small te loaches won't go for them , the snails that is. A yoyo loach are awsome snail eaters and are really fun to watch. The only bad thing about the yoyos is that they like to burrow themselves in the substrate, they sure try at least, and tend to uproot plants

Loaches or puffers are all that come to mind but if your water is clean and your not over feeding you shouldn't need to worry about snail infestations.  If theyre malaysian trumpet snails then i would acctually keep em cuz theyre good for your tank.

Thanks pedro and kent. I think im just going to try and remove them manualy. I think some might be mts but im not sure
