zoo med vita sand
does any one know if you can use zoo med vita sand in a fish tank?

It''ll definitely turn the water hard, but since chemistry is not my strength, I googled "zoo meta sand" and then "calcium carbonate" and found this: http://www.tropicalfishkeeping.com/freshwater-aquarium/calcium-carb... This is your best answer.
