I stopped my Micheals for some Mexican Self Hardening Clay like THIS. Thats apparently what everyone uses. They didnt have that exact one but they had Amaco Artists' Modeling Clay. I cant find a link to it but it says its a moist all-purpose clay. Will this work? Does it contain the same amount of iron?
Thanks

Sweet. So does the clay soften after a while under the dirt? Do you let it dry before putting it in?
The clay when bought brand new will be soft. Which is fine. You want the clay is mostly Red since
it has better iron content. POTTING CLAY vs Gray sculpture clay are different.
When it is in the fish tank with the soil, it will be soft-brittle.
Making it hard just let the iron intake for planets to be regulated. But the plant's roots will know how to route how much it wants to take in.
Well it says modeling clay for modeling/sculptures/seasonal decor/school projects. Its "Red".
This is still ok? It is sculpure clay i guess, but not GREY sculpture clay. I can upload a picture of it if necessary.
