Ok so on the old site I had asked about bulbs and if anyone has ever used the brand Catalina aquatics. No one replied so I assumed no one used them. Well I think the day after I asked a bulb of mine burned out. So I had to buy one and I went with them since they are really inexpensive. And only $6 to ship and I received it in 2 days. Well I got a power compact bulb 6700k/10000k bulb. That's right two bulbs in one and I must say it is bright! On it's own it lit up my tank and with my second 6700k bulb even with all the tannins I could see down to the bottom of a 27" deep tank. My next purchase with either be the half red bulb "plant grow"/ atinic bulb, the plant grow/10k bulb or the full plant grow. Or I might get them all and just play around.
